Membrane Switches

Membrane switches are electrical input devices that are manufactured
by integrating a polyester screen printed circuit and adhesive
layers.The typical membrane switch assembly consists of graphic
overlay, graphic adhesive, top circuit, circuit spacer, bottom
circuit and rear adhesive. Keys can be non-tactile ( bottom
left ), or tactile response can be added with polyester
domes (middle) or stainless
steel domes (right ).
In addition to new manufacture and design, we also clone
membrane switches.
PC
boards or flex circuits may take the place of silver or polyester
switch when a higher current or components are involved.
Graphic
Overlay
The
graphic overlay is a customizable faceplate designed to your
needs and specifications. The materials used are dependent upon
environmental exposure (indoor/outdoor), temperature/humidity ranges,
level of use/abuse and exposure to any chemicals.
